Tryout Process

Timeslots have been vetted against other sports schedules to minimize conflicts as much as possible. Should we need it, Sunday, November 2nd will be used as a rain date.

The tryouts and entire process will be managed by and evaluated by paid professionals including, as an example, local high school coaches, college players and club team staff Players will be evaluated on hitting, throwing, fielding, and attitude.   Players are required to attend at least one tryout but may attend both.    If you have any questions about the process, please feel free to reach out to the board at board@veronabaseballsoftball.com.

Our main principle when forming teams is to form the most competitive team of players within each age bracket.   When registration numbers allow, we do everything we can to form multiple teams.

Please register for the tryout at the appropriate link below and once we have our final numbers we will be in touch with specific slots for tryouts.  ALL INTERESTED PARTICIPANTS MUST REGISTER by 10/17/25. The VBSL reserves the right to cancel tryouts at any prospective level based on the number of registered participants as of the registration deadline.
